JESUS

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and resurrected Lord and Savior who offers salvation to all people and guidance and hope in daily living.

SALVATION

We believe personal salvation is signified by personally accepting and publicly proclaiming Christ as Lord and Savior. We offer baptism for those who confess their faith for the first time and accept the baptism of other churches for those wishing to join our church.

THE BIBLE

We believe in a reasoned approach to Christian theology, which is grounded in our study of the Bible and its applications to our individual lives and our community of faith.

ACCEPTANCE

We believe that God is love, and those who live in God live in love. In that spirit, God calls us to love and accept others, not to judge them.

UNITY

We believe that God calls Christians to unify under a common faith in Jesus. We understand that people will have differing points of view and beliefs, and we seek to learn from each other and grow in knowledge and faith.

COMMUNION

We believe that weekly communion is a significant part of our worship when we join to give thanks and find inspiration in Christ’s ministry and sacrifice. We welcome all Christians to participate in communion.

LEADERSHIP OF WOMEN AND MEN

We believe all people – men, women and youth – have the potential to offer ministry and spiritual leadership. Women and men take equal leadership roles in our church.

MINISTRY BEYOND OUR WALLS

We believe the church should be concerned with social justice in our community and the world.
