
Youth Groups are...
Here at First Christian Church, one of out main focus is on youth because youth are a vital part of the church. They are leaders and witnesses for Christ. The main goal of youth group is to help youth develop a closer relationship to Christ, a strong relationship that will last a lifetime.
We have three different youth groups that are divided by grade levels, and each group is design to encourage spiritual growth. The groups are JYF, Chi Rho, and CYF. Please read on for more information about these exciting groups.

JYF
(Junior Youth Fellowship)
Grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th
The JYF group is a strong building block in the loves of children. It is here that children begin to understand their by questioning and discussing the world around them. JYF Youth Group gives them a great place to do that. Through these eperiences children begin to better understand the presence of God in their lives.
JYF activities include "Hang Time", snack supper, service projects, Worship, fun trips, choir, and sound biblical curriculums.

Chi Rho
Grades 6th, 7th, and 8th
The Chi Rho Group is especially designed for youth in middle school. Together they journey into seeking answers to questions concerning their faith. This group provides a stable, loving and safe environment, where Middle School Youth can express themselves and the problems they are facing in today's world.
Their activates included worship, "Hang Time", supper, mission trips, games, special events like Triennium, and sound biblical study.

CYF
9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades
The CYF are today's leaders in the church. Their roles included serving as Elders, Deacons, and Worship Leaders during the first Sunday of the month. On Sunday nights the group tackles relevant issues in the world today, while focusing on their spiritual journey with Christ.
Their activities included worship, "Hang Time", supper, mission trips, games, special events like Triennium, and sound biblical study. This group is a vital part of the church and active in church life.
