YOUTH
FCC is solely committed to helping our youth know, grow, and love Christ with all their hearts in a safe, healthy and enriching environment for 6th - 12th graders.

Vision Statement:
Explore ways to be LinC-ED (Living in Christ Every Day) with our youth in a strong faith to serve and make a difference in an ever-changing world.

Mission Statement:
Engage young people in faith discussions in a safe environment and provide experiences to support them in strengthening their personal relationship with Jesus Christ; while walking with them as they endeavor to make a difference in a broken world.

Value Statement:
At First Christian Church (DoC) Danville, KY, we welcome and accept ALL youth from varied backgrounds; enabling them in understanding that they are treasured and loved in the eyes of God and our First Christian family.
Our middle and high school youth have "The Gathering" on Sunday mornings at 11:45a. They participate in a variety of activities and mission projects throughout the year. FCC youth are also a part of an ecumenical youth group with The Presbyterian Church of Danville and Trinity Episcopal Church called DYC (Danville Youth Connection).
DYC offers Wednesday morning devotions and Sunday evening programs during the school year. On Wednesdays, they meet at 7:15a at a local coffee shop. The Sunday evening group meets from 5:30 - 7:30 pm for dinner and breaks out between middle and high school age groups for bible study and activities. The program rotates the church site each month and allows an opportunity to build a stronger network of youth in the community.
